About me

Hi, I’m Abdullah Syamil Iskandar. I am a photography enthusiast passionate about visual storytelling and meaningful imagery.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Photography from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta with cum laude distinction. I have experience documenting formal and informal events, public coverage, and artistic photography projects.

Previously, I worked as a photojournalist at PT Tempo Inti Media Harian and hold a BNSP certification as an Intermediate Photographer (Senior level) as part of my professional journey in photography.

Through every work, I aim to capture honest moments, emotions, and stories through a simple and authentic visual approach.
